Kim Rahn Photography featured on the cover of the May Edition of the Chapel Hills News & Views

Thanks to all my fans and friends on Facebook for helping to make a dream come true!  The image of sweet Jonah and his even sweeter mommy, Kristi appears on this month's edition of Douglasville's local lifestyle magazine, Chapel Hills News & Views.

I entered little Jonah's image in the magazine's Facebook cover photo contest.  It was a race to the finish as I was in stiff competition with another great local photographer.  I really appreciate all who voted. I am so PROUD to have one of my images on the cover for so many reasons.  Most of all, I am thrilled to share this particular photo that means so much to me.  Not only is Jonah's picture so fitting for the Mother's Day edition of the magazine, but also I love the emotion that is captured here as this sweet newborn is being cradled in his mother's safe and strong hands.  Their story is amazing, and I am in awe of this family's patience, strength and faith in God's plan for their lives.  You can read about Jonah's birth story HERE.

After the contest was over, the editor of the magazine called Jonah's family and asked if they could write a feature article about him!  How wonderful is that!?!?

I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to photograph this family on many occasions over the past few years!  I am even luckier to call them my friends.  And yet again, as with many previous sessions, I am truly thankful that I was able to create this image for them...and now I am happy {or just plain giddy} that so many people are getting to read about this little guy and his journey into the world.

You can read the online version of this article HERE. (page50-51)

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU again to everyone who supported Kim Rahn Photography and voted for this image in the cover contest.
